Background
Provident Resources Group Inc., formerly known as Provident Foundation Inc., (“Provident”), was founded in 1999 and was incorporated on September 7, 1999 as a Georgia not-for-profit corporation. Provident is an organization described in Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (“Code”), and is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(a) of the Code. Since the date of Provident's organization, Provident has continued at all times to operate in such a manner as to constitute an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code. Provident’s tax status as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code has not been modified, limited or revoked.

Provident’s mission is to serve, build, care for and commit to the communities in which we operate. It is Provident’s goal to serve its charitable missions by undertaking a broad range of services, activities and programs that seek to provide (1) quality acute and primary healthcare, (2) safe, compassionate and comfortable senior living facilities and services, (3) safe, comfortable and affordable housing while promoting the physical, emotional and mental health and social well-being of the individuals, families and communities we serve, (4) support for education at all levels and (5) assistance in lessening the burdens of state and local governments.
Provident seeks to provide healthcare to those who need it most, regardless
of their stage of life or health. Provident desires to serve the healthcare
needs of the citizens of Provident communities by providing quality health
services and facilities for the community, promoting wellness while relieving
suffering and restoring health quickly, safely and humanely through quality,
efficient and patient-centered care consistent with the best and most professional
service we can provide at the highest value.
In serving the senior living needs of the citizens of the Provident communities, Provident strives to provide personal and compassionate care in a resident and patient friendly environment for the elderly through long-term, skilled and other senior living facilities.
Provident continues its mission to build, care for and commit to the communities it serves by striving to provide comfortable, quality affordable housing to individuals and families of very low, low and moderate income as well as affordable housing for the workforce in Provident communities. Providing quality communities goes beyond the walls, bricks and mortar. Provident is committed to creating strong, vibrant neighborhoods and providing a full range of services and programs that assist Provident’s residents in many aspects of their daily lives.
Finally, Provident seeks to serve all of the communities in which it pursues its mission by assisting in lessening the burdens of state and local governments through creative and effective public-private partnerships in any and all manners that constitute an authorized charitable activity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
