Mary P. DePietro

Mary DePietro received her Bachelor of Liberal Studies (with a concentration in Business Management and Health Sciences) in 1990 from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Before joining Provident, Ms. DePietro had over 14 years of operational and senior management experience in the senior living industry. From 1989 through 1995 she was the Administrator for Carriage Hill Nursing Home in Fredericksburg, Virginia where she established an outstanding record achieving zero deficiencies during the Annual Licensure Surveys in three out of five years and was nominated by the Virginia State Ombudsman as a member of the Virginia Nursing Home Administrator’s Board of Directors for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In 1995 Ms. DePietro joined MediCorp Health Systems, also in Fredericksburg, Virginia where she served as Administrator and Director of Senior Services and Program Development until 1997. In 1998, Ms. DePietro joined ServiceMaster Diversified Health Services in Memphis, Tennessee, a subsidiary of ServiceMaster Corporation, Chicago, Illinois where she became Senior Vice President of Operations, reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for the Senior Living Services’ Division overseeing the daily operations of all of the senior living communities managed by the Senior Living Services Division which exceeded 75 in number at the companies height of operations.
